Traits of a man who goes the distance...

1. He loves God above all other things. Things do not __________ or _______ him.

2. Jesus comes before self.

3. Jesus before all things. If there is something you cannot give away, you don't own it, it owns you.

4. He is a man of biblical unity. Help me understand why you do things that way.

5. He is obedient to God. 'I can do this myself' is the cry of a man who will pay the price down the road.

6. He loves the Word of God. Men who are willing to meet with other men on a weekly basis will discover that they will also be men who are in the Word on a regular basis.

7. He has a Christ-centered world view.

8. He has a commitment toward prayer.

9. He is empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Idolatry - extreme admiration, love, or reverence for something or someone, at the expense of one's devotion to God.

Move on! Serve God!

The world's feeble attempts to depict, to sing about, and portray love pales in comparison to the love we find described in the Bible.
