MONDAY:
Reading: Matthew 6:9-15
Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank You for teaching Your disciples a model for prayer. While You never intended it to be a formula, You reveal the very nature of who You are and Your desire to have closeness with me. Teach me to pray and to forgive like You do. I love You, Lord!

TUESDAY:
Reading: Exodus 20:12
Prayer: Dear Lord, You have long since prescribed a life of honoring others, and specifically, honoring my parents. Help me to honor them as they age, and may I model honoring ALL older people that my children and the people in my sphere of influence would desire to honor You in the same way. Forgive me when I've been disrespectful or dismissive of my parents or the elderly. Help me to love and honor well!

WEDNESDAY:
Reading: Proverbs 4:1-4
Prayer: Dear Lord, I am thankful for the spiritual fathers that You have placed in my life. Help me to listen and apply the wisdom You have given and help me to lead others toward You and the life You have intended. Forgive me for moments of resisting Your ways and failing to listen when others have offered Godly wisdom. Give me to the courage to live each day with a teachable heart and a sensitive spirit and let my words build others up today!

THURSDAY:
Reading: 3 John 1:2-4
Prayer: Lord, it brings joy to Your heart when I honor those who have walked with me in my faith journey. I pray that there will be a testimony of others that I have honored well and always spoken the truth in love to those around me. Help me to recognize the people You have placed in my life that I need to lead and serve as a spiritual parent. May my journey be filled with much joy as I lead others toward You. I love You, Jesus!

FRIDAY:
Reading: Proverbs 22:6
Prayer: Lord, give me strength and wisdom as I lead my children (and my church family children) in following You. May my life be a marvelous example—not of perfection, but of spiritual resilience and humility that always seeks to make things right between You and me. You are a loving Father and I am grateful for Your grace in my life. May all of the children around me in life know of the goodness of You and that there is no better life than one that follows You wholeheartedly. I love You, Lord!

SATURDAY:
Reading: Luke 15:11-32
Prayer: Jesus, thank You for this beautiful revelation of who You are and how You long for me to come home—even when I've messed up big time. You don't shame me or say, "I told you so," but You love profoundly as the father in this story. My heart is filled with gratitude knowing that no matter where I am today, You will run to meet me as I surrender to You. Thank You for loving me!
