Prayer: Dear Lord, in obedience, Your disciples and a group of followers waited for the promised Holy Spirit and that lead to them changing their world. Give me the courage to wait on You for Your precious gift. Your desire is to the nations reached with Your love and You have chosen to use me—fill me with Your Spirit today that I might be Your witness to my neighbor and around the world. I love You, Lord!

WEDNESDAY: The Spirit's Baptism

Prayer: Jesus, Your Spirit was poured out at that first Pentecost in a way that each one gathered in Jerusalem heard their own language! Thank You for using the tongue as a sign—something no one would have imagined that could bring glory to You! I love You, Lord!

Prayer: Lord, I love that the result of Your Spirit's baptism is the preaching of the Gospel—and the glorification of You! Let my life be FULL of Your Spirit and lead other to knowing You! Let Your message be boldly proclaimed through my life and words!

Prayer: Jesus, fill me with Your Spirit, and may my life be filled with the activities that build others up! Give me a hunger for Your word and for growing in my faith with a community of believers. I love You Lord!
