The 3:16's : The Most Famous One - John 3:16
Over and over again when teaching 3:16 verses have come up as key scriptures in Pastor Bard's messages. For years he has said, “One day I am going to do a 3:16 Sermon Series”. This Sunday he kicks off our “3:16” series with a look at the most famous 3:16 verse in the bible out of the book of John. John 3:16 contains a key truth in our faith, and one almost ever Christian can quote. But have you ever noticed that even people who are far away from God, people who have never been to church, know and can quote John 3:16? This week we will look at not only the theology behind the verse but the lesson learned from a look at the life of the person who made the John 3:16 a pop culture phenomena.
