“Inquire of the LORD”
2 Samuel 2
David’s 6th Inquiry “It happened after this that David inquired of the LORD, saying, ‘Shall I go up to any of the cities of Judah?’ And the LORD said to him, ‘Go up.’ David said, ‘Where shall I go up?’ And He said, ‘To Hebron’”
2 Samuel 2:1

“[God] raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will do all My will.'”
Acts 13:22
God certainly knew that David would fail, but He also knew that David would try again.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty . . . of the Lord, and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.
Psalm 27:4 [AMP]
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, Lord, I will seek.
Psalm 27:8
Oh Lord, you're beautiful,
Your face is all I see,
For when your eyes are on this child,
Your grace abounds to me.
-Keith Green “Oh Lord, You’re Beautiful”

We choose to love Him.

We give God the recognition that belongs to Him.

Psalm 9:1
“O God, You are my God;Early will I seek You;My soul thirsts for You;My flesh longs for You”.
Psalm 63:1
