The story in Luke 7 about the woman with the alabaster jar is one that is beautifully written and easy to read. What the woman knew was that we are all in debt to God and are all debtors. And the truth is that none of us can pay that debt. However, forgiveness is available to everyone and Jesus has paid that debt for us on the cross. All you need to do is take hold of it. When you come before God broken and need forgiveness, that's like a freshly broken alabaster vase, a sweet aroma to God. The price has been paid, and he invites you to come and receive his forgiveness. Will you come?
