So often in life we are unsure of what is true anymore. Who can be trusted, who should we believe? The same thing can happen with the conversation in our own minds. Those doubts we carry from our childhood can continue to plague us, and sometimes we start believing the conversation in our heads instead of the truth of God's love. We think we know better, or we assume someone else's thinking is not relevant. Returning to God's truth sometimes can take us a while, but when we do, we can find safety and peace in His loving grace.
