Series Purpose: NOW is the time to tell the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God!

Big Idea: Come to Jesus with nothing because he graciously gives us everything for our salvation.

1. Come to Jesus with no entitlement because he graciously
gives us deliverance. (7:24-30)

2. Come to Jesus with no understanding because Jesus
graciously gives us ears to hear. (7:31-35)

3. Come to Jesus with no words because Jesus graciously
gives us a message. (7:35-37)

Offering and Family Needs

Giving and helping are both essential during this time. We encourage you to decide in your heart how much you should give during this time, and then offer it cheerfully to the Lord as an act of worship. If you have a need, please let us know by connecting with your GC leader or emailing laura@oakhillfellowship.com with your need. In all of this we want to be an Acts 4 kind of church: Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. (Acts 4:32–35 ESV)

Questions & Personal Applications Gospel Community
(Small Groups)

1. Is there any sense of entitlement in your approach to Jesus? Have you embraced the offense of the gospel that says you are not worthy of salvation, but Jesus is exceedingly gracious? Do you ever try to hide the offense of the gospel when telling others about Jesus?

2. Do you understand how all the scriptures are fulfilled in Christ? Do you ask Jesus to help you understand every time you approach his word? What
steps could you take to “hear” the words of Scripture in a more Christ- centered way?

3. Are you eager to give testimony to Jesus’ powerful work in your life? Why or why not? If/when you do give testimony, who is in the spotlight: you or Jesus? Practice reciting or writing a testimony of all God has done in your life, keeping Jesus in the spotlight.
