Our sermon series, "Wait for It", goes along with a denominational prayer initiative, "Half Million Mobilization - Praying Our Way to Pentecost. Youth Service & All-Church Potluck
Sunday, May 22 | Celebrate our youth as a church on May 22. Our Student Ministries will be taking over the service. After service, we will be continuing the good times and having an all-church potluck. Bring your favorite dish to share or if you don't have a favorite dish, you cannot go wrong with funeral potatoes or brownies. Or, Pastor Ken is gluten-free - I'm sure he would appreciate something he could eat.

VBS
June 5-9 | 6-8pm | At Monumental VBS, kids celebrate God's greatness, participate in Bible-learning experiences, have team-building games, worship through unforgettable Bible songs, eat tasty treats, and more. Prayer Walk
Saturday, June 4 | 10am | Our Prayer Ministry will be having a prayer walk for our community. We will start in the McCormick Center with group prayer and then leave for the walk. There will be maps with numerous spots to pray for all over town. We also encourage people to spread out in the neighborhoods to pray over the families of Manteno, focusing on their salvation.

Camp Scholarships
School is coming to a close and camp is coming. Think back to your camp days - the singing, the services, the games, the freedom. Camp is still that awesome and is now even airconditioned! At around $200 a kid/youth, it's gotten a little more expensive. Help a child (and parents) pay for camp so they can get that awesome intensive Jesus experience. We think we have about 18 kids/youth going to camp and it would be extremely awesome if we could come up with a $100 scholarship per kid - so $1,800. Last week we got around $700, so we are on our way. Designate your money in the offering or online for "Summer Camp Scholarship."
