Asking For A Friend

Asking For A Friend

Sometimes we have big questions about life and faith and no one to ask or we are just too embarrassed to ask them out loud. In this series, we will talk about some of those questions that “your friend” might be posing to you. Each question we address is a question that has been asked by one or several people in our own congregation. We will also select one question from those submitted during this series. We will address that question the final week of the series.

We only complain about things being unfair when fairness works against us.
When fairness works to our advantage, we call that a perk or a blessing or an answered prayer.
Why is life not fair?
Just like fairness, you hope karma is real and works for you, and against others.
In a kingdom economy, everything is fair, you reap what you sow.
In a kingdom economy, God is fair if He gives you what He promises you.
God is fair even if God chooses to bless someone in a particular area of life more than you.
In a kingdom economy, God has opted for forgiveness over fairness.
Fairness ended in the garden.
God opted for forgiveness and offers it to everyone.
