The death of Jesus Christ is the supreme demonstration of the love of God.

John 15:13 (NLT) - “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

Romans 5:8 (NLT) - “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the supreme demonstration of the power of God.

Romans 1:4 (NLT) - “. . . he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.”

You need to really believe that Jesus died and rose for you. Believe it, apply it to daily living.

Romans 3:22 (NLT) – “We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.”

Ephesians 1:15–20 (NLT) - “Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere, 16 I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, 17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. 18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. 19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power 20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.”

Philippians 2:13 (NLT) - “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”

Colossians 2:12 (NLT) - “For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.”

Philippians 3:10 (NLT) - “I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead.”
