These miracles point to the two fold purpose of the Gospel of John: Two fold purpose: To believe in Jesus and by believing have life. The focus of this passage isn’t that Jesus can provide miraculous bread it’s that HE IS the Bread of Life.... A miracle of bread will sustain you for a day, but daily consumption of bread will sustain you for a lifetime.
