No one had ever asked them

The goal isn’t to get people into seats, it’s to get Jesus into hearts.

“I go to church.”

Maybe you need to stop going to church.

The word “flourish” in this verse means to prosper, to grow or to thrive.

“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon.”

Palm trees denote gracefulness, beauty and longevity.

The cedar tree illustrates strength and durability.

“Those who are planted in the House of the Lord,they will flourish in the courts of our God.”

“They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green”.

“the Lord is upright, He is my Rock.”

A seed can only grow when it’s planted.

We don’t flourish because we go to church, we flourish because we are planted in the house of the Lord.

- To die

- Grow roots

- Grow fruit

For every ten feet of height above the ground, the tree roots go down 30 feet under ground.

1. When you are rooted you are constantly refreshed

2. When you are rooted you are fed

3. When you are rooted you are strong

4. When you are rooted you produce fruit.

Get planted in the House of the Lord

Being planted in the House of the Lord is what changes everything.
