Many people spend a lot of their time asking "Why?" There is just something about the human mind that needs to know the reason for things. This impulse to ask why helps us understand 1 John 4:7-14. In these verses, John explains the reason for the often-repeated command in this letter for believers to love one another. This sermon explores why God wants us to love one another by focusing not on our own capacity for love but on the love that God has for us.
