Wonderful Encouragement (v. 19)
When a church is rich in love and faith, there is no doubt it will be rich in service and endurance.
Convicting Challenge (vv. 20-25)
Thyatira was known for its guilds. A guild is an association of trade/business people.
Jezebel told the church the patron gods they worship in the guilds are not real gods (there is only one God) so it is ok to participate in these pagan banquets.

The leaders of this church should never have tolerated this sin.
This doesn’t mean Christians don’t sin, it means that Christians don’t love their sin.
