TUESDAY: Caring for the Broken
Reading: John 4:46-54
Prayer: Lord Jesus, even Your spoken word brought about wholeness! Thank You for modeling such tremendous love, and help me to love the way You love. Give me courage to love people in their brokenness, Lord, as I too was broken and You healed me. Thank You, Jesus, for Your everlasting love!

WEDNESDAY: Caring for the Broken
Reading: Mark 1:21-34
Prayer: Jesus, brokenness comes in many ways—yet, You are able to make each one whole. Help me to have the discernment where spiritual brokenness exists, and fill me with Your Spirit to proclaim You boldly that others might be restored to You. Thank You for meeting me in my brokenness and healing me. I love You!

THURSDAY: Caring for the Broken
Reading: Luke 7:11-17
Prayer: Dear Lord, sometimes situations seem hopeless and desperately broken, yet I am reminded that with You all things are possible. Give me the faith to trust You and the compassion that You showed this widow in Luke 7. Help me to be sensitive to You today to see those that may be spiritually dead, and fill me with the words that spark life into those around me. I love You, Jesus!

FRIDAY: Caring for the Broken
Reading: Mark 2:1-12
Prayer: Lord, You have almost always partnered with people to see miracles happen. Just as these friends, full of faith, lowered the man through the roof, I can be one who brings others to You that You might make them whole and heal their brokenness. Help me to be available and full of compassion for those who are hurting around me. Heal me from my unbelief and my brokenness that blinds me from the opportunities all around me to serve broken people.

SATURDAY: Caring for the Broken
Reading: Matthew 9:27-34
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your Word today. Give me the faith of the blind and mute in today's reading and keep my heart from the brokenness of the religious who attributed Your miracles to demons. You are good and loving. Lord, may I be sensitive and courageous to hang out with people You hung out with. Use my hands and my feet to instruments of healing to the broken who are around me. Keep my heart humble and fully relying on You. I love You, Lord
