Look both ways before you cross the street… brush your teeth everyday… always bring a jacket. Those are just a few of the basic rules for life that parents pass down to their children. In 1 John 3:11-24, God gives us one of the basic rules for His children – our Heavenly Father wants us to love one another. In this sermon, we go “back to basics” by considering four basic ways people relate to each other and then five basic facts about the kind of love that God wants us to have.
