Drive vs. Driven
drive: an internal desire to progress or achieve which allows us to accomplish life assignments for the glory of God
Drive allows us to:
• move out of our parents’ house.
• be gainfully employed.
• maximize our gifts and abilities.
• chase our dreams.
• build a family.
• move the needle for the cause and kingdom of Christ.

driven: a compulsion to achieve for the sake of achievement
Being driven:
• is about keeping score.
• is about accomplishment, not enjoyment.
• is measured by comparison to the accomplishments of others rather than • being measured against my own abilities.
• is always about “more” rather than “enough.”
• doesn’t allow for the concept of Sabbath.
