Community Group Opportunities

Interested in joining a small group? We currently have openings on Sunday morning and a few that meet during the week. We also are starting up a few new groups including a women’s only group, young married couples, and groups that are mixed ages. If you have been wanting to join a group this is the time! Cultivating Prayer

God has placed us where we are in our neighborhoods, cities, state, and country to be an example and witness to others about His love for all people. It is not by chance that we are where we are. Ask God to open your eyes to see how to influence others for Him.

Annual Business Meeting

The River Church’s annual business meeting is on Sunday, February 6th at 3:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend and hear how the financial resources God has given were used in 2021. Members will be voting to approve the 2022 budget as well.

Family Movie Night

The whole family is invited to our upcoming RiverBank Kids Family Movie Night! Join us on February 18 for a showing of Pixar's "Up", complete with movie snacks and themed activities. Dinner for 6 Spring Session

There will be a Spring Dinner for 6 round! For those of you who want to continue on with the dinner for 6 and for anyone who hasn’t gotten to be a part of this event yet, you can still get involved this spring! More details coming soon!

River Youth 2022 Summer Mission Trip Change

The River Youth group is heading to Virginia Beach for a mission trip in the summer of 2022. While there, we will be partnering with local ministries to show the love of Christ to the local people of Norfolk, Chesapeake Bay and Virginia Beach. This is through the organization Lead222 and is being described as a Servant Leader Experience complete with leadership training and worship services.

Make sure that you join us! This is going to be a phenomenal trip. Deadline to sign up is February 6th and is just a $50 deposit. If you have any questions, please contact Zach at zach@HitTheRiver.com.

River Youth Tween Girls Bible Study

All 6th-8th grade girls join us this winter/spring to go through the study Defined by Priscilla Shirer. We will be starting this 8-week study on identity and who we are in Christ on Sunday January 9th. We will meet during first service in the youth room. Please purchase Defined Teen Girls Bible Study book prior to the first meeting. If your tween is interested in signing up please contact Brittany McGaffin at brittany.mcgaffin@gmail.com.
