Call to Worship:
Rev. Alicia. Porterfield
Rev. DaVontaé Edwards
In you, O Lord, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame.
In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline your ear to me and save me.
Be to me a rock of refuge, a strong fortress, to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.
Rescue me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked from the grasp of the unjust and cruel.
For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O Lord, from my youth.
Upon you I have leaned from my birth; it was you who brought me forth from my mother’s womb. My praise is continually of you. Amen.
~Psalm 71:1-6
Invocation and Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

Hymn of Thanks: "Rock of Ages"
Luke Porterfield
Rock of Ages, cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee; let the water and the blood, from Thy wounded side which flowed, be of sin the double cure; save from wrath and make me pure.
Not the labors of my hands can fulfill Thy law's commands; could my zeal no respite know,
Could my tears forever flow, all for sin could not atone; Thou must save, and Thou alone.
Nothing in my hand I bring, simply to the cross I cling; naked, come to Thee for dress; helpless, look to Thee for grace; foul, I to the fountain fly; wash me, Savior, or I die.
While I draw this fleeting breath, when mine eyes shall close in death, when I soar to worlds unknown, see Thee on Thy judgment throne,
Rock of Ages, cleft for me …
Let me hide myself, let me hide myself, let me hide myself in Thee (repeat twice)
Rock of Ages, cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee; let the water and the blood, from Thy wounded side which flowed, be of sin the double cure; save from wrath and make me pure.

Choral Anthem
“In Christ There Is No East or West”
In Christ there is no east or west, in Him no south or north, but one great fellowship of love throughout the whole wide earth.
In Christ shall true hearts everywhere, their high communion find; His service is the golden cord, close binding humankind.
In Christ now meet both east and west, in Him meet south and north, all Christly souls are one in Him throughout the whole wide earth.
