Welcome to our Services!
Whether you are a regular attendee, or this is your first time with us, we wanted to make sure you know how much we appreciate you joining for worship today here at Nevills Chapel!

If you are visiting with us for the first time, we would love for you to fill out a visitor’s card so we can have a record of your visit. If you have any questions concerning our church or any of our services, please feel free to ask one of our pastors or any of our greeters.

Today as we worship, I want to encourage you to think about the incredible majesty of God as the creator of everything. He is the giver of life and the reason we have breath in our lungs to live another day. We need to concentrate on Him and our service to Him. Will you join me today in worship to our Great and Mighty God?

I want us to meditate together on the following scripture from Psalm 100:4-5; “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and his court with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is Good and his love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”

Priorities – we all have them, but are they in the right order? This morning we are going to look into the book of Haggai. Haggai is a prophet that comes to the people of Israel after they have returned to their homeland after 70 years of captivity. The message of the Lord that He sent through the prophet, Haggai, was for the people to get their priorities in order.
They were so focused on themselves and their desires, that they had forgotten all about God and the work they were supposed to be working on, rebuilding the temple. God sent a reminder to them, and I truly believe we need to be reminded of the very same thing. As we look around our society, people are busy. But they are busy chasing wants and dreams for themselves and most people have forgotten all about God. We need to get our priorities in order and put “First things First” to truly reap the benefits of this life. God told Israel then, and I believe He is telling us today that as long as we are self-focused, the blessings that He has for us will not come in the way He would have them come, but instead we will struggle for the dream but come short in the reality. So, let us all put first things first

Stand up, stand up for Jesus! ye soldiers of the cross;
Lift high His royal banner, it must not suffer loss:
From vict’ry unto vict’ry, His army shall He lead,
Till every foe is vanquished, and Christ is Lord indeed.
Stand up, stand up for Jesus! The trumpet call obey:
Forth to the mighty conflict, in this His glorious day;
Ye that are men now serve Him against unnumbered foes;
Let courage rise with danger, and strength to strength oppose.
Stand up, stand up for Jesus! Stand in His strength alone,
The arm of flesh will fail you, ye dare not trust your own;
Put on the gospel armor, each piece put on with prayer,
Where duty calls or danger, be never wanting there.
Stand up, stand up for Jesus! the strife will not be long;
This day the noise of battle, the next the victor’s song;
To him that overcometh a crown of life shall be;
He with the King of glory shall reign eternally.
43 – All Hail The Power of Jesus Name
Expand
All hail the pow’r of Jesus’ Name!
Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem,
And crown Him Lord of all!
Bring forth the royal diadem,
And crown Him Lord of all!
Ye chosen seed of Israel’s race,
Ye ransomed from the fall,
Hail Him Who saves you by His grace,
And crown Him Lord of all!
Hail Him Who saves you by His grace,
And crown Him Lord of all!
Let every kindred, every tribe,
On this terrestrial ball,
To Him all majesty ascribe,
And crown Him Lord of all!
To Him all majesty ascribe,
And crown Him Lord of all!
Oh, that with yonder sacred throng
We at His feet may fall!
We’ll join the everlasting song,
And crown Him Lord of all!
56 – To God Be The Glory
Expand
To God be the glory, great things He hath done,
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the people rejoice!
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He hath done.
Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the people rejoice!
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He hath done.
Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the people rejoice!
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He hath done.
Invitation 330 – Are You Washed in the Blood
Expand
Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing pow’r?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you walking daily by the Savior’s side?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
When the Bridegroom cometh will your robes be white?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin,
And be washed in the blood of the Lamb;
There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,
Oh, be washed in the blood of the Lamb!
Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
