Walk: An act of intentionally travelling on foot

Focus: A point of concentration
A focused walk, then, is the intentional act of travelling towards a point of concentration.

A. Walk in Holiness (4:1-8)
1. To please God (v. 1-2)
a. Is an urgent ask
b. Is a possible ask (doing it already)
2. To abstain from sexual immorality (v. 3-8)
a. Means abstaining from fornication
1) Sex has a God-given context.
2) Sex has a God-given style.
b. Means having self-control
c. Means resisting passions of lust
B. Walk in Love and Diligence (4:9-12)
1. Love: As taught by God
2. Love: To increase
3. Diligence: Mind your own business
4. Diligence: Walk properly toward outsiders
C. Walk in Hope (4:13-18)
1. With no sorrow
2. For we shall join them
D. The Everyday Holiness Challenge
1. Do I give Scripture time to speak to me each day?
2. Do I disobey God in anything?
3. How do I spend my spare time?
