Fight For It Special Series and Curriculum

All of us are fighting something, and whatever our opponent, we can learn from successful, more experienced fighters! In this special series, we will also examine things that are worth fighting for. This includes fighting for yourself, your home, your church, and your city. We’ve got a lot of fighting to do. Let’s get ready for round one! Prime Time Singers

Thursdays, 10-11:30am • West U Baptist. If you are a senior adult and love to sing, then Prime Time Singers is for you! PTS meets every Thursday from 10-11:30am in Fowler Chapel.

Be Brave, “It’s Time to Grow Up: A Study of James”

Wednesdays, February 23 – March 30, 6pm • West U Baptist. No book of the bible is more convicting than the Book of James. This six-week deep dive will reveal what real Christian maturity looks like. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

Every other Monday, 9:30-11:30am • Crosspoint Church - Bellaire. MOPS International encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church. Join us to hear from talented speakers and time to fellowship and connect with other mothers. We have small groups for mothers of preschoolers and a MomsNext group for mothers with older children. Sundays • CityRise Missouri City. CityRise Missouri City prepares a handful of food boxes for families who need them. If you are in need of food or know someone who does, please inquire at CityRise Missouri City. 

Reading and Math Tutors for Shearn Elementary

Shearn Elementary. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with Shearn Elementary again. We are hoping to provide reading and math tutors for 4th and 5th graders who are not performing at grade level. Students look forward to these visits, and volunteers get to see their students grow academically and personally each time. Tutoring can take place after school Monday – Thursday and possibly Saturdays. Training provided! Visit our website to let us know that you’re interested.

Thursday Night Schedule

6-9pm • CityRise Missouri City. Thursday nights at CityRise Missouri City will have something for everybody. Classes and choir for kids, a Spanish class, a fitness class, GED preparation, and open gym for everyone. For more detailed schedule information, visit our website.

Food Distribution with Attack Poverty

First Wednesday: Healing Prayer Service

First Wednesday of Every Month, 6-7pm • West U Baptist. On the first Wednesday of every month, we gather to pray for specific needs, partake of the Lord’s Supper, and have a time of worship. Illustrate Your Faith

Every other Sunday, 3-5pm • Resumes January 30 • Crosspoint Student Building. In creative ways, grow and illustrate your faith through Bible journaling, mixed media, scrapbooking, or whatever you are working on. Feel free to bring your own supplies and projects or use what we have. There's room to express your story, your voice, your heart: draw, write, create, and build your faith with us.
