Prayer Focus: Personal yieldedness to God
Reading: Ephesians 3:20-21
Thought: Have You considered that God is without limits and that He can do far more than we can ever think or imagine? What are you facing that seems too big for God? Let your faith rise within you to believe Him for the breakthroughs that you have thought impossible.
Prayer: Lord, I have set aside this season to give You my full attention and all of my affection. Purify my mind and heart as I seek to be sensitive to what You desire to speak to me today. I give myself to You.

Prayer Focus: Expressing what you desire of God
Reading: Psalm 27:4-5
Thought: Have you ever experienced God's presence—that sense of closeness and nearness? Whether you have or haven't, the truth is, He is present right now, right where You are. Sometimes we reduce God to a feeling or an emotional response when in actuality, He is ever-present. Sometimes we are just too busy to realize it. Take a moment and thank God for His presence and that His Son, Jesus, made a way for us to experience Him each and every day. Raise your spiritual sensors and engage Your mind by moving beyond feeling to what You know—He is here.
Prayer: Today, again, Lord, I seek Your presence in my life. There is no safer place to be than in Your presence, and I welcome You into my space—my life—my home—anywhere my feet take me. Help me to be aware of You and filled with Your Spirit. Let all of my distractions fade and let me bask in Your presence.

Prayer Focus: Communion with God
Reading: Matthew 14:23
Thought: Have you ever been so busy that it seems like prayers become a quick reflex in the craziness of life? Jesus could have easily felt like the demand for more miracles and the constant flow of needy people could replace any private time, because, well, He was praying for people. That's prayer, right? Yet time and time again, Jesus recognized that the impact in public was directly impacted by the time spent in private communion with His father. Take the next few minutes and listen to what God might be saying to you today. He longs to spend time with you.
Prayer: Jesus, even You chose to get away from the crowds to spend time in prayer. How much more I acknowledge my need for time with You! Forgive me for neglecting time with You, and help me to focus during this season on time spent with You.

Prayer Focus: Repentance and Forgiveness
Reading: Psalm 32:1-5
Thought: Have you ever kept a secret about a lie? Just like the Psalmist wrote, "When I kept silent, my bones wasted away…", we too feel the discomfort and tension when things aren't right with God. Take a moment today to embrace the "reckless love of God" as you confess your sin and let His refreshing and forgiveness wash over you today! Walk in guilt-free freedom—He wants you to experience that today and everyday!
Prayer: O Lord, how easily I stumble and get tripped up by my own desires and sin. Forgive me for when I have chosen to sin and for the times I have failed to do what is right. Help me to turn from habits that are not pleasing to you and help me to turn toward you and what you have shown me to be right.

Prayer Focus: RC Children
Reading: Matthew 18:1-5
Thought: Often, I enjoy telling children silly things like, "if you eat chocolate, it will keep you from growing!" Watching their eyes get big as they ponder what you are telling them. With a chuckle, I let them know that I'm making a joke. It is this innocence and openness that Jesus was desiring of His disciples. Speaking truth and modeling faith is an important part of their faith journey and keeping our hearts tender is equally important in our lives.
Prayer: Lord, You have entrusted me with caring for the next generation. Help me to begin with child-like faith and help me to give my all toward helping the children of our church and community experience You. Give me divine creativity in connecting with our young people and protect them in this world from all of the distractions that keep them from following You.

Prayer Focus: Local, Regional & National Government
Reading: 1 Timothy 2:1-4
Thought: In a day of protests and government regulations, let's take a moment to quiet our complaints and raise our voices in prayer—both blessing and sincerely praying for our leaders who make life-impacting decisions and handle weighty matters. Ultimately, our desire is to see them come to Christ. What if our prayer today is the catalyst toward the mayor or a regional leader coming to Christ and shifting their worldview to a Kingdom view? Let's believe for God to awaken the hearts of our leaders and their families.
Prayer: Lord, I pray for all of the local, regional, and national leaders that serve Belgium. I pray for wisdom, discernment, and for an awareness of You to be present in their lives and family. May my church have favor and live peacefully among those leaders and may I be a blessing to the community of Tervuren.

Prayer Focus: Listening to God
Reading: Proverbs 19:20-21
Thought: What voices are you listening to today? In a world with a 24 hour news cycle, endless social media and instant connectedness with our phones, it is easy to have a constant flow of white noise that drowns out even the Lord. Take time today to put down your phone and shut off the TV and give yourself the gift of quietness and invite the Lord to speak to you.
Prayer: Lord, please quiet my spirit that I might listen to You, and allow You to speak Your plan over my life today. I need You today.

Prayer Focus: Family
Reading: Psalm 133:1
Thought: It's interesting sometimes that we will give more grace to our co-workers or a group of friends than we do at home. In this season, and moving forward, let's be full of the Holy Spirit and sensitive toward our family who need love, affirmation, and kindness as well as a fuller picture of who God is by modeling His grace in our homes.
Prayer: Lord, my desire is to live in unity, and that my home will be a place where my family can thrive and where peace abounds. Help all of my family to follow You and know You and may my life be an example of Your grace and love to those closest to me. Bless and protect my family and give us unity through Your Spirit.
