Wanting to Volunteer in the Church?

We are looking for people to join our tech and audio team! We are also in need of musicians to join our worship team. If you're interested in any of these areas, please contact our worship director by emailing Mystique@hittheriver.com.

Community Group Opportunities

Interested in joining a small group? We currently have openings on Sunday morning and a few that meet during the week. We also are starting up a few new groups including a women’s only group, young married couples, and groups that are mixed ages. If you have been wanting to join a group this is the time! Couples Night

On Friday, January 28th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. we will be having a fun evening for couples. The evening will include dessert, games and prizes, fellowship and we will feature the River Church Elders in the Newlywed Game. For questions contact Leslie by emailing leslie@hittheriver.com.

Annual Business Meeting

The River Church’s annual business meeting is on Sunday, February 6th at 3:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend and hear how the financial resources God has given were used in 2021. Members will be voting to approve the 2022 budget as well.

River Youth 2022 Summer Mission Trip to Toronto

The River Youth are heading to Canada for a mission trip to the suburbs of Toronto in the summer of 2022. While there we will be partnering with local ministries to show the love of Christ to the local people of the Toronto Suburbs. We would love your student to join us! This is going to be a phenomenal trip. Deadline to sign up is February 6th. If you have any questions, please contact Zach at zach@HitTheRiver.com.

River Youth Tween Girls Bible Study

All 6th-8th grade girls join us this winter/spring to go through the study Defined by Priscilla Shirer. We will be starting this 8-week study on identity and who we are in Christ on Sunday January 9th. We will meet during first service in the youth room. Please purchase Defined Teen Girls Bible Study book prior to the first meeting. If your tween is interested in signing up please contact Brittany McGaffin at brittany.mcgaffin@gmail.com.

Women’s Bible Study

On January 4th and 5th we began our next session in the Book of Luke. The study will go through April 12th & 13th. All women are welcome to join us.
