HOW TO HAVE POWER IN YOUR PRAYER LIFE:
1. Pray and praise in all of life’s situations

“When the world is on top of you, pray. And when you are on top of the world, pray.” John Blanchard
· God can heal directly and immediately.
· God can heal through natural processes of the body.
· God may heal through medicinal means.
· God can choose not to heal, yet he is still at work.

Dig Deeper
1. If you have been participating in the 21 Days of Prayer and/or the 365 Days of Scripture Reading, how are you doing with it? What do you find challenging? What do you find comforting? If you aren’t participating, what is creating hesitation in doing so?
2. When do you find yourself praying the most?
3. How does prayer draw you closer to God? How are we able to find and seek His power through prayer?
4. What does it mean to align your heart with God?
5. Why is it important to pray in all circumstances (both in suffering and in joy)? Why is it important to also praise God in both joy and suffering?
6. Which is easier for you: to pray (and praise) in times of suffering or in times of joy? Why?
7. Have you ever experienced, either personally or witness to someone else, God’s healing in a direct and immediate way? Describe.
8. One of our values at The Bridge Church is that we grow in community. We desire to see each person fully engaged and plugged into an authentic community of Christ-followers where they have meaningful friendships, accountability, and support. Why is it so important to grow in community?
9. How does Jesus’s willingness to go to the cross display His great desire for community?
10. Do you have a group of people (or even one person) that you pray for? How does that make you feel?
11. How does it feel to know when others are praying for something specific in your life?
12. Read James 5:16. What is the outcome of confessing your sins to someone else? Why is that so important?
13. Elijah was an ordinary man who prayed God-sized prayers. We don’t have to be great for God to use us for great things. What takeaway do you have knowing that Elijah was an ordinary man?
14. What is your worst fear when considering praying a God-sized prayer? Is that fear warranted?
15. Does your heart break for what breaks God’s heart? Are there any specific areas that break your heart more than others? Why?
16. Where is God calling you regarding your prayer life right now?
