"If the whole of God’s word was lost and only one book remained John would be enough."

The Purpose of John:

Two fold purpose: Believe Jesus and by believing have life.(Believe/Have Life)

Pistuo: To believe IN, not believe THAT.. (To put your trust IN)

Believe That: I believe that a parachute will bring a person safely to the ground.
Believe In: I believe in this parachute to safely bring me to the ground.

Who was John:

John the Apostle (Jesus’ 1st cousin)
James and John the Sons of Zebedee and Mary Salome

John the Baptist (second cousin of Jesus)

The Call of John
Think about the fact that Jesus was choosing who He wanted to live with, eat with, experience life and ministry with.

Think about how it would have felt to have received from Jesus the invite to come and follow.....Guess what You Have!

You didn’t come to a teacher for information. You came for transformation.
