North Platte Berean Church
Our Father
God has revealed himself to us as our Father, but unfortunately there are so many poor stereotypes about fathers in our culture that obscure how good he really is. Yet despite the demeaning portrayals and even the painful actions of earthly fathers, God intentionally chose to reveal himself to us this way. Today we'll take time to explore how he is the best and truest Father in every sense of the word and therefore we can trust His every intention and action toward us.

This Week's Sermon: Our Father
God carried his people
God disciplines his people
God will spare his people
Talk It Over
Use the "Swedish Method" to engage with the key Bible passage(s) from the sermon:
💡 What did you notice from the passage? What stood out to you while reading or listening to it?
? What questions do you have from the passage? Was there anything you did not understand? Was there something you would like to ask the writer or the Lord from the passage?
→ Where can we take what was said and apply it to our life?

Next Week's Sermon
Jesus commanded his followers to "Make Disciples" and we've restated this in our mission: "Leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ." Our heartbeat is to see more and more people growing in this relationship with Jesus through connection to the Word, prayer and community. In 2022, we're launching a 3 Book Challenge focused on taking practical steps to helping everyone in the body at NPBC lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We long to see multiple generations of disciple-makers activated in Lincoln County!
