North Platte Berean Church
Seek and Set
People often think about how God gives commands (like the "TEN Commandments") and we can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the volume or intensity of these commands. We're called to walk obediently before God, but we can become discouraged and burdened if we simply focus on the commands in front of us. Is there a way we can walk in obedience without being crushed under the weight of commands? Indeed, and we'll see this clearly as we examine Colossians 3!

Past truth: Raised with Christ
Present truth: Hidden with Christ
Future truth: Appearing with Christ
Talk It Over
Grow Groups resume this week! Consider using the “Swedish Method” to engage with the key Bible passage(s) from the sermon:
💡 What did you notice from the passage? What stood out to you while reading or listening to it?
? What questions do you have from the passage? Was there anything you did not understand? Was there something you would like to ask the writer or the Lord from the passage?
→ Where can we take what was said and apply it to our life?

Next Week's Sermon
Our first three weeks of 2022 are geared toward orienting ourselves toward God in obedience and love. We have been looking at truths that enable us to treasure Him more dearly and fear and follow him more closely. We'll conclude this with three verses that give us a greater understanding of what the Lord has done, does, and will do for us. May this stir our hearts to treasure Him above all else!
