If it’s a new season and different circumstance, we need wisdom. If’s it’s the same season and same circumstance, we need wisdom. No matter what, we need wisdom. We need to know what to do, how to do and when to do. There’s no better time to reflect upon the lesson of 2021 and determining our strategies for living victoriously in 20022.
Matthew 25:1-13 AMP
It’s not enough to get ready.
There were ten virgins in this passage. Five were considered foolish while the other five were considered wise. What’s the difference? They both got ready for the return of the bridegroom but only the wise stayed ready for His return. Notice that five of the virgins were called foolish—thoughtless, silly and careless.
We must stay ready.
Again, all of the virgins got ready. Each of them had a lamp with oil, but only the five wise virgins had extra oil. Notice that the bridegroom was delayed and all of them fell asleep. Yet, the bible doesn’t call any of them out for falling asleep, but it does call five virgins out for not having extra oil.

Be ready for His Coming
God never wants us to be caught off guard. He wants us to be ready for the return of Christ. He also wants us to be ready to deal with any situation life presents.

Each person on the planet must have a relationship with the God.
No one can be ready for you. You must choose Jesus for yourself.

We need to run to God before we run to people.
No man is an island, but you need to put in the work for relationship with God. Sometimes the people we want to help us can’t. Was it selfish of the virgins to not share their oil with the foolish versions? How do you feel when you don’t get what you desire or need from people?

We need the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and light to my path.”
No matter what we’re dealing with, there is an answer in the Word of God. It’s imperative that we stay in the Word of God on a consistent basis.

Get Ready and Stay Ready
How will this year be different for you if you’re not willing to do something different? Will you be wise, or will you be foolish? It’s not enough to get ready but we must stay ready.
