1. Take a few minutes to review the seven reasons to devote yourself to reading the Bible in 2022. Which of these are most compelling to you? Explain why.
2. Do you have a habit of regularly reading the Bible? If not, openly discuss the obstacles that may keep you from reading. If so, is there someone you know who you could invite to read the Word together with you? List those people by name and pray for them.
3. To what degree is your life characterized by joy? Is there a correlation between this and the degree to which you read and obey God’s word? Pray, asking God to guide you as you seek to make changes in this New Year.
