Hosea 2:14
“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.”
What is God wanting?

1. God is wanting an encounter with you.
Psalm 103:10
“He doesn’t deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities.”
What is God wanting?

2. God wants to transform you.
Joshua 7:12
“I will be with you no more, unless you destroy the devoted things from among you.”
Galatians 5:24
“And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its assions and desires.”
Hosea 2:8
“Israel did not know that it was I who gave her the grain, the wine, and the oil, and who lavished on her silver and gold, which they used for Baal.”
Hosea 2:13
“And I will punish her for the feast days of the Baals…”
Exodus 20:3
“You shall have no other gods before me!”
Hosea 2:17
“For I will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth, and they shall be remembered by name no more.”
Romans 5:5
“...and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”
What is God wanting?

3. God wants to bless you.
a. God brings perfect peace

Hosea 2:18
“And I will make for them a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down in safety.”
b. God brings His covenant relationship

Hosea 2:19
“I will betroth you to me forever.”

“You shall know the LORD.”

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Hosea 1
Jezreel – God will sow
Lo-ruhama– No Mercy
Lo-ammi – Not My People

“You are not my people, and I am not your God.”(Hosea 1:9)

Hosea 2:23
“And I will have mercy on No Mercy, and I will say to Not My People, ‘You are my people;’ and he will say, ‘You are my God.’”
Even if you’re a seasoned Christian, you have to live in forgiveness’ power.
