The Promise of Peace | Love

The Promise of Peace | Love

Jesus’ arrival in the manger came wrapped in a proclamation of peace. But during the hectic holiday season, experiencing that peace can seem just beyond our grasp — like the crooked star on top of the Christmas tree that we can’t quite reach to straighten out. This Christmas season we invite you to discover all the joy and hope that God makes possible as he extends to us his promise of peace.

Welcome to Mission Hills!

Mission Hills is a church family—a family who wants to extend to you the same love, hope, and joy that we have received. We know that we cannot be all things to all people. But we do want to be one thing to all people. We want to be the place where anyone, of any age, of any level of spiritual maturity, of any economic class, of any ethnicity, of any church background—or no church background—can meet God in a way that transforms their life…forever!

If you are a first time guest, we would love to meet you! Stop by the Welcome Center for a free gift.

Luke 2:10

If it's good news, it isn’t: Straighten up, Get back to church, Read the Bible.
“For God so loved the world that he gave…” (John 3:16)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him…” (John 3:16)
“Believe In” = Putting our trust IN.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
God loved, God gave, we believe, we receive.

John 17:1-2

John 17:3

John 1:12

John 3:17

God did what people in Love do… God Gave.

Isaiah 9:6

Believing in = Putting the full weight of your trust in.
Eternal life is not waiting for Heaven, but participating in His Kingdom being expressed on Earth.
Jesus came to save the world, not condemn it.

John 3:17

1 John 2:1

He suffered eternal death, so we can experience eternal life.
