(2 Corinthians 10:3-4) -For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.


Here We Go Again
(Luke 11:24-26) “When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, searching for rest. But when it finds none, it says, ʻI will return to the person I came from.ʼ So it returns and finds that its former home is all swept and in order. Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before.”


1) Freedom.
2) Prosperity.
3) Bondage.


(Galatians 5:1) “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

Be Free

1) Humility.

(1 Peter 5:8) “Humble yourself …”

2) Honesty.

(1 John 1:9-10) “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. “


(James 5:16) “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.”

3) Holy Spirit.

(1 Corinthians 13:14) “... may the intimate FRIENDSHIP of the Holy Spirit be with you.” (MSG)


(Romans 8:9) “You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you.”


(2 Corinthians 3:17) “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

A God Encounter Gives Us …

(Genesis 32:24-30) “So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacobʼs hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” The man asked him, “What is your name?” “Jacob,” he answered. Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome.” Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.” But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there. So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, “It is because I saw God face to face…”

· A new strength.

(1 Corinthians 2:3-5) “… My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spiritʼs power, so that your faith might not rest on menʼs wisdom, but on Godʼs power.”

· A new identity.

(2 Corinthians 5:17) “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”

· A new joy.
(Psalm 16:11) “You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
