Family Builders is the agency that Jon and Melissa are a part of as foster parents. Every year at Christmas, they do a gift drive where people can buy presents for foster kids, and this year we're participating as a church. All gifts must be mailed or delivered to Family Builders by December 3rd.

New City Catechism | Q46: What is the Lord’s Supper?
Answer: Christ commanded all Christians to eat bread and to drink from the cup in thankful remembrance of him and his death. The Lord’s Supper is a celebration of the presence of God in our midst; bringing us into communion with God and with one another; feeding and nourishing our souls. It also anticipates the day when we will eat and drink with Christ in his Father’s kingdom.
http://newcitycatechism.com/new-city-catechism/#46How they use religion for their own glory:
They clean up the outside because that’s what other people can see while they let the inside (that part only God can see) rot away.
They ignore justice because it’s hard. They tithe herbs because it looks hard.
They used their synagogue services as a tool to prop up their own social standing instead of a way to worship and be closer to God.
They burden others with religious garbage that they won’t go near.
They use the Bible to inflate their ego and not as a path to humility.
They kept people from the truth to keep themselves in power.
They try to stamp out the gospel because it rubs them the wrong way.
