Week 5: The shape of your judging

1. Share an example of cancel culture that you have witnessed.

2. Read Matt. 7:1-6. What does it mean to be a compassionate Christian regarding our "judging." Compassionate Christians don't pick up the pencil. How have you been tempted to "pick up the pencil?"

3. Compassionate Christians take the plank out of their own eyes. Why is it easier to see the speck's in others' eyes rather than the plank in ours?

4. Compassionate Christians think before they speak. Share with each other strategies you have used to put this into practice.

5. Compassionate Christians seek the sanctifying power of Jesus. Read 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24. Where is an area of your life, regarding Judging others, that you need Jesus' sanctifying power?
