1. Caring for Others
- Popular culture and legal tradition recognise that everyone owes a duty of care to others, but only to a reasonable standard.
- Jesus revolutionised the standard of care that we owe to others: He commands us to love others as He has loved us.
- It takes more than goodwill to care for others. We cannot love others truly if we do not know God’s love for us.

2. Sharing the Gospel
- Sharing comes from a place of caring. It’s not about proving others wrong.
- Sharing the gospel is not a religious activity. Effective sharing starts with understanding that the resurrection of Jesus 2000 years ago is still current “news”, and “good news” (gospel), because it continues to significantly impact our lives today.
