What is the shape of your life, do you know how to pursue a Kingdom Shaped Life? In this series of talks, we at PGC will finish our study of the Sermon on the Mount and find out how we can be formed by Christ and His Kingdom.

<b>Week 4: The shape of your worries</b><br><br>1. Take a moment to share what is your favorite Thanksgiving food?<br><br>2. What causes you to worry the most?<br><br>3. Pastor Dan shared that in our Post-Christian culture, the “good life” has been reduced to the "gospel of self," and the pursuit of the benefits of the Kingdom of God without the King. The problem is, however, When it's all about you, it's all up to you. How have you seen these ideas from culture shape your life, your well-being, and your decisions? Why does this lead to anxiety, depression, worry, etc.?<br><br>4. Read Matt. 6:25-32.<br>● Jesus says (vs.26-27) that God’s care for the lower creation (birds) should assure us of His care for us. How does this illustration Jesus provides speak to your areas of worry?<br>● Jesus also says that if God clothes that which is perishable so beautifully (vs 28-30), why do we doubt his faithfulness to His children. Theologian Robert Mounce says that “Worry is practical atheism?” If you think about the areas of your life where you have a tendency to worry the most, why lie, or what unbelief is rooted in your worry?<br><br>5. As you think about the wheel illustration, what area of life is your greatest temptation to put in the center?<br><br>6. Read Matthew 6:33-34. What is one way you can seek the Kingdom First in your life this week? How would this impact the worry you mentioned in question #2?<br><br><b>The “Good Life” is a Kingdom centered life.</b>
