Church BBQ | Next Sunday after Service | Don Smith and his pit crew will be grilling up some deliciousness for us. Don’t miss this chance to get some of the best BBQ in Rancho Cordova! Each household is asked to bring a side dish to share. The church will provide beverages and dessert.
Operation Christmas Child | October 17 - November 21 | Four filled boxes have been returned to the shelf area...a good start. Keep in mind that this will be the first gift many of these children have ever received as testified by 8 year old Genesis of Ecuador. She loved the stuffed animal in her box, but was delighted to hear how Jesus loved her. As boxes are handed out, local Christian partners make sure the Gospel is clearly presented in ways that children can easily understand. That day Genesis prayed to receive Christ as her Lord and Savior and her parents did as well! The most important thing we can pack in our shoeboxes is prayer. Two more weeks until closing, Nov.21. Pray for Alliance International Workers: URUGUAY
Praise God! An Alliance worker couple whose return to the country was delayed for eight months was able to reenter Uruguay. Pray that they can renew old friendships, build new ones, fit in well with their team, and renew their expired residency visas. Pray for many divine appointments to lead others to Jesus.
