Prayer: Lord, as I have seen in the life of Joseph, continuing to do the right thing leads to a life free of regret. Forgive me when I've chosen to resist Your plans or I've even chosen to sidestep my own convictions. Help me to be positioned to be used by You to accomplish Your plans with honor and integrity.

TUESDAY: Fear of Regret
Reading: Genesis 42:1-36
Prayer: Lord, the regret of Joseph's brothers was deep and they had no way to turn back the hands of time. Thank You for revealing Your character through this story and showing the powerful gift of grace. Help me to avoid the pain of regret by loving and showing mercy—toward others and toward those who may have hurt me. Remind me again today of the love You have shown me that I might see others through that lens of grace.

Prayer: Jesus, even in this set up by Joseph, there was clearly a heart of love and a desire for healing. Thank You for the process of healing and that You are a God of reconciliation. Help me to respond to the hurts in my life like Joseph did—free of bitterness and abounding in compassion.

Prayer: Lord, I can't imagine the flood of emotions that must have led up to this moment of revelation for Joseph. Your grace worked powerfully to restore and redeem the brokenness of Joseph's past. Thank You that my past isn't the final part of my story, but Your love covers over my regrettable moments and places me in a place of life and freedom. I love You, Lord!

Prayer: Jesus, give me grace to see from Your perspective and help me to live with the integrity of Joseph. Let the fear of regret and my past regrets be covered by Your grace and give me courage to make right the things I can and forgiveness for the things I can't. I love You, Lord!
