Church BBQ | Sunday, November 14 after Service | Don Smith and his pit crew will be grilling up some deliciousness for us. Don’t miss this chance to get some of the best BBQ in Rancho Cordova! Each household is asked to bring a side dish to share. The church will provide beverages and dessert.
Operation Christmas Child | October 17 - November 21 | Over 40 shoeboxes have gone out and the remaining stock has been placed on the shelves. Also available on the table are activity sheets for young people to send a personal message with their gift. Adults are also invited to send a letter and a photo. This has proven to be a cherished item for the child. A ministry partner in Liberia who is also a dean at a Bible college said that some of her students still have the letters they received in their shoeboxes years ago. Pray for Alliance International Workers: SPAIN
Praise God for the following report from Alliance workers: After four years and eight months of captivity, our friend Sister Gloria was released! As some of you may remember, she ran an orphanage with a few others in a nearby village until her kidnapping in early 2017. Praise God for protecting and sustaining her through her long captivity and for liberating her. In another recent update, an Alliance team asked for prayer for Pastor Emmanuel, who had been kidnapped a few weeks ago. The team has since learned that Pastor Emmanuel was released! Thanks to all who prayed!
