The following questions are used during discussion in weekly LifeGroups and may also be used for your own personal study.
o Does this mean we get “jackpot Jesus” and anything we want is ours (Colossians 3:1-3; 2 Peter 1:3-4)?
o Does this only mean spiritual things or does it also include physical things (Revelation 21:4)?
o How do God’s promises, assured by the death and resurrection of Jesus, give you hope no matter what?
o How do feelings of guilt affect how you live and how you relate to God?
o How did God deal with our guilt (v. 34;2 Corinthians 5:21)? How is that different than just telling us, “no big deal” and brushing it off?
o How do our desires and what we treasure affect how we walk (Matthew 6:21; James 1:14-17)?
