In this passage of God’s Word, we see some people cautioning Jesus about a Herod wanting to kill Jesus. Jesus was being personally attacked. By taking a look at Jesus’ response, we can learn how to respond when we are personally attacked.
Remember:
1. Stay _________
Luke 13:32, 1 Tim. 2:2, 1 Thess. 4:11, Rom. 12:18, Phil. 4:5-9
2. Your __________
Luke 13:33, 2 Pet. 1:10, 2 Tim. 1:9, Heb. 3:1, Eph. 4:1
3. How God ________ you
Luke 13:34, 1 Sam. 16:7, 1 John 3:1
4. ______ people towards Christ
Luke 13:35, 2 Tim. 4:2, Rom. 10:1
Reflection Questions

1. How do you typically respond when you feel like someone is personally attacking you? Do you try and fight back? Do you try and reason with them? However you typically respond, how does it usually work out for you?
2. Which one the 4 takeaways from Jesus’ interaction with the Pharisees do you think you need to work on the most? How will this help you to respond in a more God-honoring way when someone is personally attacking you? How can you remember to do that and who can keep you accountable to that?
3. If you applied your major takeaway to your life, and allowed that to affect how you respond when someone is personally attacking you, how do you think it could lead people towards Christ better?
