The Confession of Salvation (1)
1. The Promise of Blessing (Psalm 32:1-2)
"Forgiven" is to lift the burden or debt.
"Covered" implies sacrificial blood required for sin.
2. The Prevention of Blessing (Psalm 32:3-4)
Misery is directly related to the oppression of unresolved sin and rebellion against God.
Without conviction of sin, there can be no salvation.
3. The Path of Blessing (Psalm 32:5)
A restored relationship with God is available, but the confession of sin is the path to it.
God forgives because He is rich in mercy and loves us with a great love!
