TUESDAY: Beyond Your Control
Reading: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for the promise of the resurrection for those who have put their faith in You. Your victory over death assures me that I too will be raised to life even after death! WEDNESDAY: Beyond Your Control
Reading: John 11:17-37
Prayer: Jesus, it is amazing to consider that You have walked closely with those who feared death and things they couldn't control. Your compassion for those who mourn is reassuring to me that when I fear, You won't look down on me, and You will be there for me. Forgive me for when I've failed to understand Your timing and Your choosing of how to heal. Give me faith to trust You more.

THURSDAY: Beyond Your Control
Reading: John 11:38-44
Prayer: Lord, with You, even death is no match. As I read Your Word, I am reminded how truly powerful and loving You are. Give me faith to trust You—even when I don't see how You are working and when things are far beyond my control. While earthly resurrection is rare, I know that my eternal resurrection is assured through my trust in You!

FRIDAY: Beyond Your Control
Reading: Romans 14:8-9
Prayer: Dear Jesus, I live for You! Help me to have the same eternal perspective that Paul had. You are the Lord of the living and those who have died, for in the fulfillment of time, I will be made alive in You—the One who has conquered fear and death—once and for all time. I love You, Lord, and Your love casts out all fear!

SATURDAY: Beyond Your Control
Reading: Revelation 21:3-4
Prayer: O Lord, how I long to see You face to face, where fear, death, pain and crying will be no more. Give me strength when fear mocks me to remember the promise of God and the truth that one day, all fears will cease. I rejoice in You and know that the fears I face will not conquer me, but that You have the final word. I trust You, Jesus!
