Fear Not.
“I’m not sure God intends for us to live completely fearless but I am confident that He has given us everything we need to live with less fear.”
Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm. The disciples were amazed. “Who is this man?” they asked. “Even the winds and waves obey him!”
“Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
“Who is this man?”
Their focus had moved from “what was happing” to “who was with them”.
“Jesus was sleeping.”
Fear loses its influence in our lives when our faith in someone exceeds our fear in something.
Stopping fear in its tracks is all about moving from “what” to “who”.
“Today is a day of victory, all is well, I’ve got this.”
When your faith in someone exceeds your fear in something your peace will return and your storm will calm.
