which literally means to “weave in” and thus to intertwine or interconnect closely as by wrapping or twisting together. Empleko means “to be involuntarily interlaced to the point of immobility.”

1. It is possible for believers to be in bondage.
Bondage: any impulsive or compulsive behavior that restricts you from living in or enjoying the freedom that Jesus died to give you.
Jesus died not only to give us forgiveness of sin, but to give us freedom from sin!
2. It is difficult to admit that we are in bondage.
3. It’s easy for Jesus to set you free from bondage.
