The name Devil, is not so much a name as it is a job description.
Diabolos
It means to penetrate something from one side, all the way through to the other.
Ballos: To throw something like a rock or ball.
“Dia” it penetrates all the way through.
It is gripping fear or sense of dread that causes you to shrink back into cowardice.
Fear comes from the negative thoughts we allow to play over and over in our minds.
