1. Discuss the "religious" nature and characteristics of different worldviews, including ones that claim to be anti-religion.
2. What are some examples of "doctrines" that people believe, whether inside or outside the Church? ("doctrine" defined as: a principle, position, or body of principles in a system of belief)
3. One of the points in the sermon was that your feelings can be wrong. What do you think about this? What are some ways that we can check our emotions for truth and validity?
4. Have you ever had a belief or conviction about something that you later realized was not from the Bible? If so, where did it come from? (i.e. family history? cultural values? etc.)
5. Honestly consider your life. Is there any specific truth that you believe but are not living in accordance with? What steps would you need to take today to better practice what you believe?
