Facts About Doors In Your Life:
• Every door is a choice.
Doors are metaphors for the choices we make daily!

• Your future will be determined by which door you choose to walk through or walk past.
“See, today I have set before you life and prosperity, death and adversity.” [HCSB]
“Today I am giving you a choice. You can choose life and success or death and disaster.” (Deuteronomy 30:15) [CEV]
A door could be …
• … an opportunity from God. Paul: “But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, because a wide door for effective ministry has opened for me—yet many oppose me.” (1 Corinthians 16:8-9)

• … a distraction from others. Nehemiah: “So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work and cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?” (Nehemiah 6:3)

• … a trap from Satan. “But He turned and told Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me because you’re not thinking about God’s concerns, but man’s.” (Matthew 16:23)
How To Test A Door:
If an open door is truly from God, it will NOT contradict what He’s already said in His Word!
Jesus: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.” (Matthew 24:35)

You need to...
1. … learn to discern which door you should walk through. “And I pray this: that your love will keep on growing in knowledge and every kind of discernment, so that you can approve the things that are superior and can be pure and blameless in the day of Christ …” (Philippians 1:9-10)

2. … walk through the right door courageously. “Then David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He won’t leave you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the Lord’s house is finished.” (1 Chronicles 28:20)
